After what seems like forever, I am finally on the homestretch of Silo Saga: Recoil. If you’re not familiar with Silo Saga part, it is a Kindle World, set up in Hugh Howey’s world of Wool. My story takes place after his best selling novel Wool, but before his final book in the series, Dust, takes place.
The current status of the book, is I’m a little more than half way through the rewrite. After that, I ship it to my editor and let her have her way with it. I’ll then get her edits back and wrap things up by April 1st. I was shooting for March 21st, but it just didn’t seem realistic, and I didn’t want to sacrifice quality, just to make an arbitrary deadline.
So, with that all said, I feel comfortable now releasing the book cover! I’m 99% sure this is the final, but I reserve the right to change that is necessary.
