Rememorations was also nominated for Best American Science Fiction. Here’s a quick synopsis:

Is living forever all that it’s cracked up to be?

Decades after receiving an immortality endowment, Nathan Duncan returns to the Lazarus Center for Extended Living to discover that his treatment was not all he was promised. The routine maintenance he requires will affect his past every bit as much as his future.

Now, Nathan can’t help wondering: Is it the man that makes the memories, or vice versa?
