A lot has happened in the past 2 years, and I’m doing the best to make up for lost time. One part of my writing career that has lagged behind is the production of audiobooks. Actually, I started early on with my short story Borrowed Souls. It went live on Audible about 4 years ago. Since then, I’ve hired and subsequently fired a handful of producers that dropped the ball on making Linear Shift into audio. So, I kind of gave up.
That was until November of 2017 when I finally got another book produced. The Hunted Assassin launched, but there was no report from the gunshot. All that was heard was silence.
Then, in 2018, I had 4 more books produced. The Borrowed Souls, and the complete Humanity’s Edge Trilogy were all recorded and produced last year. Still, there was only a bunch of crickets. It wasn’t until I bundled the trilogy up that I finally started to make some headway. I’m still quite upside down on the audio part of this endeavor, but I can feel the tide is turning.
That brings me to the point of this blog post. I wanted to share the hard work of the audiobook producers for my novels. At least as far as I can without breaking any major contracts with my retailers. Here I present the first recorded chapter for 3 of my 5 audiobook productions. I am skipping the second and third volume of the Humanity’s Edge trilogy, because it’s the same narrator as the first in the series.
